How do I use an emote animation in Roblox Studio?

Export it as a Roblox animation (.rbxmx), right-click your R15 rig in Studio and choose Insert from File. Open it in the Animation Editor and publish it to Roblox to get an asset id you can play from a script. Exporting from the gallery is part of Pro.

Can I make my own emote animation?

Yes. Describe the move in a sentence, or record it on your phone, and NPCMotion turns it into an R15 animation in about a minute. Remix any animation on this page to start from its prompt.

Do these work on R6 characters?

No. They are made for the R15 rig, which is what most Roblox games use now. An R6 rig has different parts and would not move.
